# 🏦 DEPOSIT

The user connects one wallet (**WALLET A**) to the **DAPP**, select one of the available amounts and click **DEPOSIT** , our service creates a secret note that the user must keep as it is the key to withdrawing their funds at a later date. After confirming the transaction, our **Smart Contract** stores the funds and adds the hashed note (**commitment**) to the list of deposits. **No one has access to the note or the funds** except the user making the deposit.

The **DAPP** provide a button to copy and download the **NOTE**, we strongly advise you to save it in a safe place before sending the funds to the **Smart Contract**, print it, secure the printed **NOTE** and delete the text file. The note contains data that that could compromise your anonymity.&#x20;

It’s **mandatory** that the users check the result of the transaction in the **MultiversX** **Explorer**! Sometimes the dapps (all the dapps) could get a “Timeout” result window, or even a “Fail” result window, with a success transaction. The safest way to know the result of your transaction is to check in the **MultiversX** **Explorer**, you could do it easily by clicking in the loupe icon:

If for some reason the transaction fails (timeout, not enough funds, congestion of the network etc) the **funds remains in your wallet**. You can discard that **NOTE** and repeat the process. It will be safer if you log out, close the browser and start again from the beginning.
